Feature Request: Automatic play and stop depending on the window status.

Would love to have this working fully in the background, but the problem is that if you have windows open that are not fullscreen, you get kind of dizzy from the aerials running in the background. So a great feature I would love to see would be if the window status is checked—when there’s no active window, it transitions into playing, and when a window is opened, it transitions into pause, like the original behavior from macOS.

Are you saying that macOS does that right now with their videos ? Like, if I have one of their videos as a wallpaper, they animate it when no window is showing ? (say I minimize all my windows ?)

Because I don't see that here.

No, they only do it from screensaver to wallpaper. What I'm suggesting here is the same thing but in the described scenario.

Ha ok, make sense. Some of their dynamic wallpapers do play all the time (not the videos, the things above) but it's indiscriminate (and very slow).

It's definitely an intriguing idea, I'll keep it in mind for v4 thanks for the suggestion!
