Autocomplete dropdown doesn't autoscroll on arrow-keys navigation

Case:

  • trigger an autocomplete list, which is long enough to become scrollable
  • navigate through it with arrow-keys
  • upon reaching an autocomplete item which lies outside of the list-box, the list-box doesn't autoscroll and the selected items are not visible
