Quality of QR Code and scanning time

I am trying to use a QR code 1cm * 1cm in dimension and I need to bring it closer to the webcam. I think due to the blurry image it is a little hard to read it.

  • Is there a standard for the quality and size of the QR code dimension and resolution wise?
  • Can we use Micro QR Code?
