Feature request - Show processes accessing soundcard

Hi !

I'm in need of a way to see if and which processes are accessing soundcards. Polling with lsof could be a way to do that:

lsof -Fpc /dev/snd/pcm*

What do you think about this feature ? I'm willing to work on it in a few days.
