Support for 8x8 pro rooms?
I have an 8x8 pro account, I'd like to be able to use this extension from within my 8x8 private meeting space. Since 8x8 is already supported I'm hoping this would be very easy? However the meeting name in the extension doesn't support a forwardslash
Example 8x8 Pro URL invite link is structured like this: https://8x8.vc/TeamName/MyName
You may try to follow the instructions for self hosted instances. This way you should be able to add support for your Pro URL.

Added "8x8.vc/TeamName" to manifest.json and background.js. The new entry shows up in the dropdown selection, but when i type in the room name and select "enter" i am still sent to a standard 8x8 room. The invite link still appears to be pointing to https://jitsipop.tk/#/8x8.vc/RoomName. As if everything after the forwardslash is scrubbed.
Does it work without the invite link?
I mean, when you select your server and specifiy a room name from the extension icon:
Invite link is for convenience if I remember correctly, but it will probably work without it too. Just ask some people to join your room as usaual and test if the extension works with your modifications.
I have no experience with 8x8 Pro and haven't used the extension myself recently...
If i try to join the room using my normal invite link https://8x8.vc/TeamName/MyName, it doesn't take me to the same room as the jitsi-pop instance. It is still a standard 8x8 room (I also know this because pro accounts allow you to change the 8x8 logo in the corner to a company logo)

Properly intergrating 8x8 pro would take more time, which I don't have at the moment.

Forget about my invite link, use the normal 8x8.vc way of inviting. I think it should work.

This version appears to work, I was able to join the meeting and bring others in as well!
Just wanted to hop back in here to say that I've been using this patch on a weekly basis and it has worked flawlessly!
