Yes, one of them is fine. This is a really strange bug and possibly a Sponge bug... when the block is placed the event for "placing a block" is captured....

Unfortunately that does seem like a Sponge implementation bug. As suggested on their repo I tried using a newer version of Sponge on a test server, like 7.3.0, but still...

You should disable place/destroy flags, which of course is not optimal.... I tried contacting Sponge directly but got no luck, since other plugins seems to have this issue when checking...

Can you share a region file where this is happening? Please note that if you have permissions in that region you will still be able to hurt others

Quick update on this: turns out the problem is a mod in RLCraft, **[FirstAid](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/first-aid)**. This is the localized damage mod. Infact removing this mod from server/client made the pvp flag...

This is really really strange, as the plugin doesn't handle entity render code directly. Might be some side effect for something, will see if I can reproduce the issue and...

I don't know, but if it is it's really weird, since all the expansion does is modify the region points and nothing else... I'll see if doing these steps will...
