Limit traffic to my cloud servers
Hi, I just install outline server on my google cloud and its working. I need some information how can I control my user traffic to connect just on my services in google cloud and some services on google. I appreciated that if share your idea with me.
@aidin-binary Thanks for the suggestion. I think this is the first time this has been suggested. It's not currently on our roadmap but we're always happy to consider new suggestions.
I was interested in this as well, throw an outline server into a docker stack, and let people hit http://myhiddenwikiserver or whatever you want to run next to it.
Sounds like there are two different issues:
-
somehow bridge in the local network of the server docker container so it can be access through the VPN (plus whatever network configuration you need in Google Cloud, DO, etc.)
-
an option in the client to only route certain traffic, not full VPN routing of all traffic
Possibly just not what outline is designed to do, but the setup and cross platform experience is just so much better than other options :)
I thought outline would be good for this kind of use case. Wish it had more knobs, but damn, it's remarkable how easy this was to setup/install.
