Mouse is infinitely moving in top left corner

Open johnisfine opened this issue 4 years ago • 8 comments

Sometimes when I connect and launch JSM, my Dualshock 4 moves cursor infinitely in top left corner, so I can't move it. Reconnect, reopen doesn't helps. I don't know what causes this bug.

Thanks for reporting this. This has come up in the Discord, too. I think I'm able to reproduce it on my end, but if you can narrow it down any further (like, it only happens when certain programs are running, or when a number of controllers are connected, or something), that could be really helpful.

Last time that bug happened when I had openned Firefox, file explorer and steam. Alsi this bug was happening when I had running csgo and steam, it has gone when i closed csgo (then i started jsm and only then csgo and all worked fine). Maybe firefox like csgo don't lets jsm normally launch.

I have a similar issue using a Switch pro controller, updated to the latest version (1.6.1) and it seems to be a bit random as to if it'll take effect when starting the application or loading the config file for a game. I've tried turning off stick control of mouse and that did not work, then upon restarting the JSM application again it seems to be working ok. I can do more testing tomorrow night if needed.

I'm having a similar problem. Opening joyshockmapper is fine, its only when I load any config which calls on 3Dmouse.txt I think Happens whether or not any app is open and no amount of calibration fixes it. I cannot play games with joyshock mapper because of the drifting. It's completely random as well, in terms off speed and direction in which the cursor drifts.

@daedalus0 are you using the latest version? This branch isn't updated anymore. Electronicks is running this project now at https://github.com/Electronicks/JoyShockMapper

Yes, when I open joyshockmapper it shows version 3.3.0

Should I move this comment to Nicolas’ page then?

@daedalus0 Yes please. Make sure to include what controller you're using.
