DS4 Gyro with bluetooth ?

Hello JibbSmart, Gyro is not working for me with bluetooth. Are you still working on this?

Greetings, Flint

Good to know. Yes, I'm still working on it. I'll comment here when I have a hopeful fix. It's tricky, because the problem doesn't happen on my computers or my controllers, but I have some avenues I can explore.

Thanks for mentioning it here.

Ah, so it is working for you. That is really tricky. Which version of the controllers do you have? I got the newer ones (cuh-zct2e) - maybe there is a difference with the bluetooth-protocol?

In DS4Windows for example gyro and acceleration are readable over bluetooth, so it should be theoretically possible.

A few days ago I was able to compile JoyShockLibrary and JoyShockMapper in VS 2017. I'm totally new to this and it is hard for me to find all the dependencies, but in this case it was only the hidapi. Maybe I can try to help you, but I still have problems to read c++ code. But I'm trying to get into it. Greetings, Flint

I guess I have the v2 controllers? Mine don't have the light shining through the touchpad that I've seen on newer models.

Thanks for kindly offering to help. I think I'll have a look at what DS4Windows is doing and see if there's anything I can glean from that.

One of the goals with JSM and JSL is to have as few dependencies as reasonably possible, because I know from experience it's very hard to get into building open source projects with lots of dependencies. I'm glad you've been able to get them working :)

I'll let you know when I think I have a solution and maybe you can check it out.
