Clean files after failed install
Problem
While trying to install a package I ran out of disk space, so the installation process failed. However, even after not having the related packages installed, some files were kept on my system (in particular, a 5.something GB folder in my home directory) that prevented me from doing anything useful until I manually deleted them.
Solution
The installation process should have some way of temporarily tracking the added/modified directories so that a failed installation process can remove the extra files.
