Error in installing ROS

These are the errors I'm getting- E: Malformed entry 1 in list file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ros-latest.list (Suite) E: The list of sources could not be read.

hey i am getting the error: bash: " /opt/ros/melodic/setup.bash: No such file or directory " when i enter the command: " source ~/.bashrc "

what may be the cause and how can i solve it ?
