Thank you for reporting this!

It seems that this is a known issue: https://github.com/ntoll/uflash/issues/67. As far as I can see, work is being done to amend this in a new version. As soon as it is practical, this version will be used in future releases.

There is a workaround mentioned in the original issue (replacing uflash.py used by the plugin), but I do not yet have micro:bit v2 on hand to verify if it works. :(
