New official version published?

For our projects ability to update to support Android 33 we are requesting a new official version to be published. Is there any timeline or possibility of that happening?

Given that there are unreleased security and bug fixes in master, it would be great to have a v2.5.3 release.

@JesusFreke I am just wondering whether you could publish a new release (2.5.3) based on the latest commits before this repo is going to be archived? I am still relying upon dexlib2/multidexlib2 and changing to the new smali repo is not yet an option.
