Error logging in: Steam returned "General Failure"

the confirmation page will not load to confirm trades or market confirmations, it then tells me to force refresh and sign in again, when i do this i am still unable to access my confirmations

Same for me. Last version of SDA, family sharing is disabled, but this error again and again...

i asked steam to remove my authenticator because the sda wouldnt let me disable it, because i had no access to my account

Im also encountering this error. Just got back an old account of mine, had removed the phone number and everything. Trying to setup a new number returns General Failure
