have we checked that the pokedex works right? i haven't. i would imagine we would want it to count as you having seen Raticate regardless of the variant you saw and not have a separate "Alolan Raticate" in the pokedex in the video games, it shows an entry per pokemon #, and you can view that and flip through the variants so Alolan Raticate and Kanto Raticate are the same #, but you can see both variants while looking at that #
