Thank you for taking the time to report the issue and help me to make the project better! 🙂
Please be mindful that this is a hobby project and any support I am able to offer is done at the expense of my (often hard to come by) spare time.
This is very strange. Have you renamed the default Anki model?
AnkiBridge assumes that you use standard Anki models. This is what my Note Types
in Anki look like - please share a screenshot of yours.
Additionally it would be very helpful if you fill in the versions in the diagnostics section above.
I've updated the versions. I don't know how to rename the Anki model. (Sorry, I actually don't know what is Anki model;) Which screenshot will be helpful for you? This is from my setting:

The same screenshot that I supplied would be good. You find it in Anki under "Note Types"
I couldn't see any screenshot here. I'm sorry I'm not sure what is the screenshot you supplied. After making a new account in Anki, I succeeded in syncing! I probably messed up with my Anki account. So I will close it.
I am glad you got it working! I hope you enjoy AnkiBridge!
I'm getting the same error message as jakeoung described but for me is creating an new anki account no option because i already have over 1000 cards in multiple decks, so what exactly do you mean with "Have you renamed the default Anki model" is there a way to check it?
Hey @MilchiDE
Could you attach a screenshot of the modal you get when opening Manage Note Types under Tools → Manage Note Types in Anki?
Mine looks like this:
Ah, okay I see, I had no note Type with the name Basic, now I created one, and it's working fine, thank you! I don't know if it's hard to implement, but it could be a cool option to set it your self in the settings menu.
@MilchiDE @jakeoung
I will add documentation outlining this along with a setting in Obsidian.
@MilchiDE could you please tell me what the note type you already had was? I am curious to learn why people are running into this problem and how best to fix it going forward.
I probably just deleted all other card types while I set up anki for my first time, I have 3 card types all with names I defined my self for certain decks. Anyway thank you for the quick reply and the Plugin itself ^^
I had the same issue:
plugin:obsidian-ankibridge:71 Uncaught (in promise) model was not found: Basic

Anki type notes are in french:

I renamed it in english and not it works 👍
