Macros not being sent

I'm on Arch GTKTerm v1.2.1

I created a macro and when I push the shortcut (alt+q on this case), the command gets printed to the screen (Local echo is enabled) but the command is not sent through. If I copy and paster the command using the mouse, it is sent through.

It is a known issue. Macros are not the strongest point in 1.x. Will be addressed in 2.x
