New chats no longer get named after first prompt

Describe the bug

Conversations no longer get a relevant name. It simply says New Chat *.

Expected behavior

Conversations should get a name after asking the LLM something. I believe this started happening after the latest update (6.1.7)?

Edit 21.07.25: Still the same on a new install of 7.5.0. Note: This is not meant as nagging. Just providing updated info.

Can reproduce this in Alpaca 7.0.1, chat titles are still not being generated.

I can replicate but works fine if you use a small model dedicated for naming

Yeah just try a smaller model, bigger ones might take a while and make it seem as if it isn't working.

This behavior is inevitable when giving users the option to choose models for title generation.
