Which is the max total screen resolution?

Each Raspberry can show maximum video resolution 1920x1080 so 4 raspberry trough pwomxplayer should theoretically be able to show 1920x1080x4 pixels.. Is it real or the ethernet connection will do a bootleneck at a certain max number of tiles?
