Node editor is beautiful

The node editor is really beautiful.

If it is difficult to extract the editor into it's own package as you indicated in https://github.com/Jcparkyn/nodexr/issues/117 do you think you could do a more dev oriented writeup about how you created the editor? I was trying to look throughout the code, but it's not easy if you don't know where to start or what to look for. Some high level article about how you created the visual node editor would be cool.
