when some apps are open or even when none of them are open, the volume bar pops up when clicked and disappears this happens twice not able to open the volume control panel

Do you mean the mixer flashes when activating with not the hotkey but the tray icon?

Try uninstalling mixer and reinstalling via JaxCore. If the issue presists, turn off animations

I've found out that mixer's flashing can be fixed by increasing animation steps. I had not rly much (18) so it was buggy. From 30 and above it begins to behave normally, I set it to 60.

I had an issue where I could never get the volume mixer window to stay appeared, it would always open for a split second and disappear either once or twice. This happened both with the tray icon click(left or right) or with a hotkey. Only opening it as a widget would it stay open.

I disabled animations and that seems to have fixed it. The culprit seems to be slide animations. I am on v2.16 in Windows 10.
