502 on track change
I've got an issue on jqbx getting a 502 response on track changes from https://api.spotify.com/v1/me/player/play?[...]. It happens from time to time and more often, if tracks change more often. This prevents spotify from playing the wanted song.
JQBX is opened in
- Win 10 1809:17763.864
- Chrome 78.0.3904.108
- Spotify via desktop application v1.1.21.1654.g282a2807
Hi Mike,
So when the API returns a 502 error that indicates that something is going on with Spotify's API. Unfortunately when this happens it's basically out of my control. I can look into better error handling so that it gets flagged on the UI or something like that. Will leave this open so I can think about it. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

A flag in the UI and/or automatic retries would be great. It's confusing not to know whether its still trying to connect to spotify or just running into errors
