As mentioned in jupyter/notebook#6702 linked above, this may also affect Notebook's ability to run with Jupyter Server v2 (when launched directly, not when launched from within JupyterLab).
From triage: JupyterLab Desktop could override JupyterLab's "about" dialog to include info about both the version of Desktop and the version of Lab. Thank you for your contribution!
We currently use Myst for the changelog, but most of the documentation remains in RST. @krassowski suggests exploring Jupyter Book for documentation, now that it is generally available.
I'm also seeing this. It may indicate a capacity constraint on Binder or its backend dependencies.
Does this happen with any other desktop environment?
