Search "website" do not return results for "website.com" unless it has "website" term in description
If I search for "website", it should match all scripts with this word.
Can you provide a concrete example?
If you try searching "spankbang", it will not show https://sleazyfork.org/en/scripts/493946-spankbang-com-improved, because it has "spankbang.com" but not "spankbang"
Yes! I wonder why general search don't match with values of Applies to section of a script.
Observed behavior
- https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts?filter_locale=0&q=imgchest.com shows 0 results
- https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/by-site/imgchest.com?filter_locale=0 shows 2 results
Expected behavior
Both pages show 2 results.
Steps to reproduce
For general search:
- Go to https://greasyfork.org/en
- Type in
imgchest.comin the search field, press Enter
For site search:
- Go to https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/by-site
- Type in
imgchest.comin the search field, press Enter - Click on the only option "imgchest.com"
The domains listed under "applies to" are now included in the search index. Note that due to how ranking works, those with the domain name in other places are more likely to be higher in the results.
https://sleazyfork.org/en/scripts?q=spankbang now includes https://sleazyfork.org/en/scripts/493946-spankbang-com-improved
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts?filter_locale=0&q=imgchest.com and https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/by-site/imgchest.com?filter_locale=0 now return the same scripts.
