Please open a discussion forum on FD-autoplacer. This is an awesome project and would like to see more of it.

Please add constraints like PCB edges, keeping components all facing the same direction, and ability to fix components to PCB so they are immovable (like connectors). Would love to see this integrated into KiCAD and/or FreeRouting

Hi Andrew, Sure! I have added discussions.

Fixed components already exist - Lock the footprint in KiCad, and this software should respect that.

I agree, the other features would be nice - Happy to accept PRs! It is not impossible that I will someday chip away at that, but not for the near future.
