emitter Timeline events trigger late or not at all, sometimes twice

Observed with an event that creates another particle system, at least.

The events triggered by the timeline aren't always happening, and if they do they seem to be late.

-The longer after the emitter starts they were supposed to trigger, the longer the delay. -Sometimes they trigger twice when the timestamp is low enough: the first time the event is in time, but quickly cut-off. -If the timestamp is 0, the event never triggers.

There may be a different behavior between the visual code extension and the browser app? Not sure.
