Issue Summary
What are you trying to do, and what do you expect to happen?
I am currently creating a robotic arm model. I went to test the model's posability. I tried to rotate a claw on the Z axis.
What happens instead?
Instead of rotating on the Z axis, it rotated on the X axis.
Example video: https://file.garden/ZZwxkrwcdjLfA7B9/%E2%97%8F%20CoolArm%20-%20Blockbench%202025-04-29%2016-17-13.mp4
It kind of fixed itself, but is still broken. If I move it on the X axis, and then the Z axis, it seems to work, but if I move it back it stops working.

You might be running into gimbal lock. What is the rotation of the bone in edit mode?
The rotation of the bone shown in edit mode is 0, 90, 0, and so is the one on the opposite side.
