Recreating texture of meshes creates translucent edges

Open Cubouse opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

What are you trying to do, and what do you expect to happen?

Recreating a texture for meshes.

What happens instead?

The new texture does not preserve the opacity of all pixels on the edges of faces. (similar to #1364)

The phenomenon mostly happens on the edges of UV islands for meshes. but can also happen in the middle of UV islands, like for the cuboid type of mesh in the 2 screenshots below the video.

The pixels that become translucent also have their RGB values slightly shift.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Create mesh with roundness
  • Create texture template for it
  • Create texture template for it again
  • Some pixels on the edge of UV islands become translucent
