Is there a secure QR code reader for Android?

I want to use a Android QR code scanner to scan a password from my PC to the phone. Is there a Android QR code scanner that is secure and trusted?

I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamma.scan

But define "secure" and "trusted"? The scanner doesn't connect to the internet, so it should be safe. It uses a history (you can remove scanned codes) of the scanned items so a scanned string will be stored in a local database. But if someone else has access to your phone to recover deleted databases and stuff, it's no longer your phone.

i would rather go with an open source scanner: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.google.zxing.client.android

I use this: playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.secuso.privacyFriendlyCodeScanner&gl=US or Fdroid: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.secuso.privacyFriendlyCodeScanner/
