Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It is great to have the panel vertically oriented. However, the system trays still places the icons horizontally, while the clock prints the time vertically. The transform CSS attribute seems to have no effect.

Describe the solution you'd like Give options for a better experience when the bar is vertical

  • Rotate labels
  • Allow system tray icons to be placed along rows, not columns

There is some discussion happening around this in #294 currently.

Both the suggestions above seem sensible. The label module is currently not rotating text, which it should. The plan is then to add a new option to allow manual specification of text rotation.
