So attempting to play a video from YouTube that doesn't support external mode (anything from Vevo), one is presented with the following message

This video contains content from VEVO.  It is restricted from playback on certain sites.

The quick and dirty fix to to turn off "magic redirects" in the preferences menu. I'll look into a better solution going forward. Thanks :)

I'm getting this with a lot of videos blocked externally by Machinima. What's to lose by disabling magic redirects? Any non-quick and dirty fixes on the horizon..? O:-)

Also, @SamHH, I just re-pasted a youtube URL after turning that setting off. It no longer redirects certain sites video links such as Youtube.com from the usual web interface with many UI elements, to an 'embedded' interface that only contained the video player object.
