I assume you have not set a password for your user in Windows? Therefore, the KEychain service cannot be used and the credentials is therefore stored in the Joplin database....
Has Joplin on the System Keychain Support?

I don't know how your system is configured, but you may need a powershell.exe beforehand `powershell.exe D:\Joplin_Backup\SendToGit.ps1`
Please set the `Loglevel` to `Verbose` under `Advanced Settings` in the plugin and upload the log file. How is the file created in the Hotfolder? By which program?

I assume you mean for the default installed plugin in Joplin. The plugin here does not set a config for a backup directory, this is done by the Joplin team...
I think they have chosen this path with intent, but please ask in the forum (mention that it is the default plugin) and post the link here if you like....
