Merge two sides of 2 legs of crosses as common line

I was trying to nest crosses.

Regression

• Tried with 8 rotations,
• tried with 1 rotation and "+" cross,
• tried with 1 rotation and a 45º rotated cross "x".

All with "Merge common lines" enabled and "Optimization ratio = 1".

Expected was that two legs of a cross to become a common line on one site, like:

With Deepnest 1.0.5 the result is never a merged common line:
