Missing LICENSE

Open thierryseegers opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

This project has been forked quite a few times but it is missing a LICENSE that confirms that the code is indeed open-source. In the interest of everybody, the author and whoever forked it, it is best to add a LICENSE file which states the rights of the author and everyone else.

In the absence of a LICENSE, any code in this repository IS NOT open-source. Its mere presence on github.com DOES NOT confer any rights akin to typical open-source rights. It confers only the right to anyone to click on the fork button and that's it. After you forked this repo, you can do nothing. You CANNOT modify it and you CANNOT re-distribute it.

+1, please add LICENSE file, for example, MIT or Apache
