Checked with the latest development build

• [X] I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
• [X] I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

0. ... open two libraries
1. ... change something in both libraries, do not safe, but wait for bak files to be generated
2. ... kill the programme
3. ... open JabRef
4. ... user is asked whether to restore from bak files.

effect: system utterly unresponsive until I act on the choice.
