📚 Description
Hi @InAnYan 👋,
I've made a few UI improvements to enhance interactivity and user experience in the download section:
✅ Enhancements made:
- Applied
hover:opacity-90,hover:shadow-lg, andhover:scale-y-105effects to the Apple Silicon and macOS Intel buttons for smoother visual feedback on hover. - Added hover underline effects to the purple text links located beneath the download buttons for better visual indication.
- Changed the label "Download for Mac" to "Or see all download options" for improved readability and clarity.
- Applied the same hover underline styling to purple links for both Linux and Windows users to ensure a consistent experience across all platforms.
🚧 Note: I wasn’t able to apply hover effects to the main "Download for Mac" button. If you're fine leaving that button without hover effects, I’m happy to proceed as is.
Let me know if you’d like any tweaks or follow-up refinements.
Thanks again for the opportunity to contribute! 😊
Best regards,
Rajveer
Hi @InAnYan ,
I’ve merged the PR — could you please take a look and proceed with the next required steps whenever convenient? Let me know if anything else is needed from my side.
Thanks!
Okay, the project works, however:
- I would also like to hear other maintainers' opinion. @tobiasdiez
- I personally wouldn't like to use animations, but I would agree for making background lighter and/or adding a purple-ish border
Hi, @InAnYan
Thank you for the feedback! I'm totally fine with removing the scaling animation if that’s preferred.
Should I tag the other maintainers here to get their feedback as well?
Thanks for the PR! I'm currently quite busy with other projects and will only have the time to look at this closer in a few weeks. Sorry!
@tobiasdiez No worries at all—thanks for the heads-up! Take your time, and feel free to reach out whenever you're ready. Appreciate you letting me know!
