How do I fix a blinking mouse cursor in VirtualBox 6.0.24 and Windows 98?

I can't find a solution to this problem anywhere. It costs Windows 98SE. https://youtu.be/a4D5rCEwPbw?si=rcJuwaIIqaCPD_CD The video driver is softgpu-0.4.2023.19. I tried other video drivers (vbemp, SciTech Doctor), but they also do not help. The system settings include a PS/2 mouse. Switching to another version of VirtualBox, to another hypervisor or buying an old computer is NOT an OPTION! How do I fix a blinking mouse cursor in VirtualBox 6.0.24 and Windows 98? Maybe you can try to adapt a mouse driver written for VMWare for VirtualBox 6.0.24 or later?

Please, update to newest release. Problem isn't mouse driver itself but missing HW cursor acceleration, in newest release cursor is still flashing but it should be moderate now and playable.
