Crackling audio in some games

Hi! I'm a Redump user with tons of PC games that I'm testing to see the capabilities and the compatibility of this driver. So far, I've encountered an issue with these two games:

• Requiem: Avenging Angels (Italian version, SafeDisc protected, already patched to 1.2 and with a hex edit on the main "Direct3D executable" to disable some pesky DirectX check because the game complains if you have installed a DirectX version above 6.1)
• Shadow Man (Italian version, SecuROM protected)

These games have crackling audio, other games I've tested don't have this issue.

Do you need me to run some tests inside the virtual machine to help you pinpoint the cause of the issue?

I had a similar problem with blood 2 the chosen, I solved it by setting the audio properties like this:

With your settings the crackling is gone in Requiem, I will test Shadow Man later and report here.

EDIT: Shadow Man is fixed too.
