Ubuntu's default terminal emulator often (or always, don't remember) can't move, minimize, close or resize when Toxic's open
But those terminal emulator functions work fine when Toxic's running on Terminator.
Update: it only happens on the default emulator after I send someone a message, so when I open it, and when I open it and put the password, and when I open, put pw and then open a chat but without sending a message, then the window closes fine when I hit X.
Sounds like an issue with said "terminal emulator". Without a crystal ball it would be hard to guess what exactly is happening there.
I mean the default GUI terminal Ubuntu Desktop comes with. Also, that only happens when I open Toxic from its dedicated icon (when you hit the Windows key and search 'toxic'). If I open it from the 'normal' terminal (as in, I click the Terminal icon and type and run toxic), then I can resize fine and all. Haven't used it in a while though as I now mostly use Debian's QTox (which uses the older but hopefully still secure version).
