Cannot set active video device

Thank you for Toxic!

I just installed it on Arch Linux and all is working great, except for the video:

Running /lsvdev in/out shows a list of video devices, but none of them is selected (while running /lsdev in/out shows a list of audio devices with the selected one highlighted). Running /svdev with one of the listed device has no effect (while running /sdev allows me to change the selected audio device).

So, not surprisingly, the audio works, but the video does not: running /video in a call does not give any error message, but no video gets started.

What did I do wrong? How could I trouble-shoot this??

install gentoo

While I agree that installing Gentoo is very good advice, sadly, I am having the same issue on a Gentoo system :(
