Erro opening terminal: xterm

since last week Toxic is not starting. When i start it with --debug i get Error opening terminal: xterm

xterm is installed. so far no problems with other ncurses programs. i run toxic version 0.8.0., toxcore 0.1.9. on LinuxMint 17 (qiana)

i installed toxic from the "deb https://pkg.tox.chat/debian nightly release" repo and updated 30min ago.

any hints?

I have not pushed any changes to Toxic in the past couple weeks, and I cannot reproduce this bug locally.

i now set TERMINFO to the terminfo dircetory of an toxic 0.7 installation folder export TERMINFO=/home/user/toxic0.7/terminfo

then toxic runs... no idea what causes this problem
