Balance: honey generator

Open VinnieDanger opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

The honey power is very unbalanced compared to other power systems and needs a rebalance to not be pointless.

  1. The generator is always “on” , meaning it consumed honey even when no power is needed.
  2. the power generated per mb of honey is just far too low, so much so that using a thermal series centrifugal separator consumes more power to convert one honeycomb to honey than is actually made by the generator.

I love the idea of honey power, but right now I’ve built a hive with over 30 hives with expansion boxes and can’t power 3 separators and a small AE system.

Ad 1.: Are you sure it consumes honey? I use this within a modpack and honey generators start consuming honey and producing power as expected (most often it's off).
