Jedi Outcast: Is there a chance of fixing Volumetric Shadows?
Volumetric Shadows appear to work in Academy but not in Outcast. They didn't always look blocky. I don't quite know when but some time between Windows XP and Vista, either because of a graphics driver update or the OS itself, they turned into the blocky mess they are today. They will look right on retro systems with mid-2000s specs. Is there a chance we can see a fix for this?

Which cg_shadows option is this one again? 2 or 3
Having read up a bit more on things, I understand now that this is meant to just be the original renderer. It was cg_shadows 2. Here is a screenshot illustrating well what is happening on Kyle and Luke's models: https://assetsio.reedpopcdn.com/138150196396.jpg
However, I've since switched to Rend2 which is a modern renderer that has fixed and enhanced many things, though I do not know if the intent here is to just render as close to original as possible - bugs and all - or also fix.
