Add new variants to existing database

Since the frequencies are calculated on the fly (export or query mode), I think it would be a nice feature to add new variants to an existing database, rather than creating a new from scratch.

Hello! That is a good idea!

Maybe we should add a "update" module? If we make it smart, we might even be able to use it for adding variants to gnomad SV or similar.
