Any way to look at System Memory on Galaxy S5?
Galaxy S5, Android 6.0.1, Verizon version G900VVRU2DPJ2
System settings reports 14.84 GB in use of 16.00 GB. Drilling down, the report shows: 1.16 GB Avail 5.46 GB System memory 7.96 GB Apps 0.21 GB Pictures, videos 0.35 GB Audio 0.54 GB Other which adds up close enough.
diskusage is showing only 10.77 GB total for "Storage Card" with space used showing: 7.36 GB Apps 1.11 GB Media 1.13 GB System data 1.17 GB Free space
Is there any way to see what's in the 5.46 GB of system memory?
System memory Samsung reports is on separate partition and has not possible to use by user. DiskUsage total reports the size of the user partition of the device. System memory report by DiskUsage is the difference between allocated memory on the user partition and the space allocated by files DiskUsage was able to see. DiskUsage cannot find see some of the files hidden by system on the user partition.
