Support multiple files at once

I would like to look at multiple instances of formatted JSON at once, so adding tabs or, at the very least, a new window option would be very nice.

Hey there! Thanks for the suggestion, it's something that's been requested a few times. I have it in my backlog to try and see how much work it would take to add multi-window support.

Come on! I'm looking forward to that!

Imagine my shock when I used the keyboard shortcut to open a new window and instead it deleted what I was working on!

Huge fan of Boop. New window or tab support really bothers me as I sometimes need to work on multiple texts. Having the ability to open new tabs would do magic!

Anxiously expecting for this feature!

Same for me! This is the only reason why I still keep something else with Boop…

Tab support would be wonderful. BTW, apple did introduce a feature to implement "multi tab" on every application, could this be a simple solution for that need?

Sort of rebooting a pretty old request, but as I've started to use boop the biggest thing I feel it's missing is multiple tabs. As this is open source and all I would love to contribute; however, I have no experience with swift.

Anyways, just wanted to give another thumbs up to a request that's several years old. Thanks for your hard work!

Just a head’s up: the ultra-simple way to try for two windows is to run two instances of the application in question.

In this case, I opened iTerm, and used the command /Applications/Boop.app/Contents/MacOS/Boop

I was able to run that twice in the same terminal, and both windows seemed to function just fine.

Since Boop does not use a persisted state, there should be no unintended consequences for running multiple instances.
