Client loses connection after a few minutes

I just set up a new computer and moved my deskthing over. It is constantly disconnecting and will only reconnect when I unplug and plug it back in. I know my computer is missing the driver I installed when flashing but I want to be certain that is the issue before I install it since my last device had many issues and I am hesitant to do anything that might repeat them.

Update: I installed the driver and the issue is still there. It randomly disconnects and it will disconnect whenever I lock my computer.

Usually this comes down to the cable being low powered or having an AMD cpu chipset

Typically fixed with a powered USB hub, using the BIOS port on the motherboard, or a new cable

Also try configuring the restart script in device details
