Image Rendering Fails with Grafana 7

I just upgraded to Grafana 7 and now the image rendering fails. In the first mail I got a hint that for rendering images I now need to install the "Grafana Image Renderer" plugin. Now I did that but still get timeout errors. Is that related to an issue in Grafana 7 or an issue with this tool?
