I would like to know under which license the sample code is distributed.

License for the repository is Apache 2.0.

I am asking because all files in Src have an header with the reference to Apache 2.0. However the sample code does not have it.

I have no idea what the original intent was (omitted intentionally or just because no one ever got around to adding it).
