V4+ crash if no internet access, tries to contact GitHub IPs
I use firewall (Simplewall) to allow internet access only to software i want to have it, and starting from 4.0 Beta1, CompactGUI crashing if access is blocked.
It tries to contact GitHub IPs from 185.199.108.0 to 185.199.111.255 range.
With access, it works fine. Is this intentional?

Not intentional, it's a bug. It's trying to get an updated database, but can't. It's supposed to just cancel the request if it can't connect. I'll fix that :)
I saw the same behaviour with the version 4.0.0 beta 6. The issue should have been fixed in this version ?
I'm using Portmaster to restrict / filter internet access instead of Simplewall. CompactGUI crashed after ~100s
